The Stengl-Wyer Postdoctoral Scholars Program in Biodiversity Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin is accepting applications! Scholars propose their own independent research, and may study any group of organisms at levels from genes to populations to communities to ecosystems, using any combination of approaches. Scholars participate in monthly cohort activities, support education and community engagement, and join a collaborative and interdisciplinary research community at UT Austin. Applicants must secure a faculty sponsor from any department within UT's College of Natural Sciences. Applicants of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Award package: Annual salary of $70,000 plus benefits, and annual research/travel allowance of $10,000, for up to 3 years; relocation expenses up to $3,000, with a start date of August/September 2027 at UT Austin.
