Privacy Policy

Core Relevance (“JobMoo,” “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Account info: the account owner’s email, a hashed password, and an optional first name.
• Alert recipient info: the recipient’s email, optional first name and nickname, and time zone.
• Job preferences: the field, keywords, locations, experience level, and send time you choose, plus the feedback you give on jobs (thumbs up/down, “never show”).
• Marketing attribution: if you arrive from an ad or link, we record campaign tags (e.g. utm parameters) and the referring page so we know which efforts work.
• Payment info: handled by Stripe. We receive a customer reference and subscription status, not your full card number.
• Usage and device data: standard server logs (IP, browser, timestamps) and cookies, used to run and secure the service.

2. How we use it

To create and run your account, match and send your job alerts, process billing, provide support, improve our matching and the product, measure which marketing works, and keep the service secure.

3. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: one to keep you logged in, one to remember the campaign you arrived from (so signups get attributed correctly), and a token to protect form submissions. We don’t use third-party advertising trackers on the site.

4. Email and your choices

We send job-alert emails and essential account/billing emails. Every job-alert email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can pause or change your alerts anytime from your dashboard. Unsubscribing the alert recipient doesn’t cancel the account owner’s billing; manage that from the dashboard.

5. How we share information

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate JobMoo (for example, our payment processor, our email-delivery provider, and our hosting and infrastructure providers), each under their own privacy and security commitments, and only as needed to run the service. If you opt in to the AI-assisted encouragement wizard, the inputs you provide for it are processed by an AI provider on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights and users.

6. Where job listings come from

Job listings come from a mix of hands-on human curation, automated tools and AI, and publicly available institutional sources. We don’t collect personal information about you in order to gather jobs. Matching happens against the preferences you set.

7. Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to run the service and meet legal/accounting obligations. If you close your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except what we must retain by law.

8. Security

We protect your data with measures like encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed passwords. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

9. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@jobmoo.ai. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We don’t sell personal information.

10. Children

JobMoo is intended for job seekers and the adults who set up alerts for them. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If a parent or guardian sets up alerts for a minor, they do so on the minor’s behalf and confirm they have authority to provide that email address. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; we’ll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you where appropriate.
