Assistant Professor of urban ecology, behavior, and evolution

Boston University, Department of Biology · Massachusetts · tenure-track · posted yesterday

The Department of Biology in the College of Arts and Sciences at Boston University is recruiting an tenure-track Assistant Professor position in urban ecology, behavior, and evolution as part of Boston University’s University-wide Livable and Resilient Cities convergent search. Part of BU’s Urban Development & Resilience convergent research theme, Livable and Resilient Cities, brings together expertise across the social, environmental, educational, biological, data, legal, and communication sciences to advance research focused on creating healthier, more equitable, and adaptable cities. The search is part of a new approach to convergent research at BU that intentionally brings together different disciplines, methods, and ways of thinking to tackle questions no single field can address alone. New faculty will have opportunities to become part of a broader network of scholars connected by shared research challenges, including researchers across the social, environmental, educational, biological, data, legal, and communication sciences. Please share this opportunity with colleagues and candidates in your networks who may be interested. Learn more, explore the position description, and apply here.
