The primary focus of the Dive Technician is to provide top-side supervision and emergency response for daily diving maintenance tasks. Additionally, you will assist with staff and volunteer diver training, dive facility required record keeping, and other diving needs to support the Animal Care Team (ACT) and the volunteer maintenance diver program. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys being responsible for coordinating groups of people to deliver results, can create a positive atmosphere of teamwork, can deliver results through others, can adapt to a dynamic work environment, possesses a safety mindset identifying hazards before they become incidents, has strong diving knowledge/skills and excels emergency response processes. The Dive Technician is a Safety Critical role.
