Position Title: Wildlife Biologist (0486 Series) Grade: GS-0486-7/9 Closing Date: September 30, 2026 Salary: $50,835 - $80,840 Location: Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida Contact: Alex Nicely - alex.w.nicely@usda.gov Job Summary: Responsible for organizing and conducting direct control operations to reduce wildlife damage on CCSFS, to include feral swine trapping, raccoon trapping, coyote trapping, and removing other wildlife causing damage to property and predating nesting sea turtle and shorebird species. The selectee will utilize firearms, traps, and other tools to harass, relocate, and lethally control wildlife on CCSFS.
