The Department of Environmental Sciences in the College of Agriculture at Tennessee State University is hiring a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Silviculture. We invite applications from innovative educators and researchers with expertise in silviculture and applied forest ecology, particularly as related to forest ecosystems of Tennessee and the southeastern United States. The successful candidate will contribute to research, undergraduate and graduate teaching, student mentorship, applied forest science education, outreach, and the Department’s pursuit of Society of American Foresters accreditation for its undergraduate Natural Resources and Ecosystem Management program.
