Location: Lake Buena Vista, FL Pay: $15–$16/hr Type: Seasonal/Temporary Job Summary: Join the Natural Encounters, Inc. show team for a unique seasonal role combining animal care with on-stage presentation. As a Seasonal Show Trainer, you'll work closely with experienced staff to support the health and welfare of our animal ambassadors and contribute to inspirational live performances. This is a limited-duration position, not to exceed 39.5 hours per week or up to 120 days  per year. Responsibilities: • Perform daily husbandry tasks (cleaning, feeding, enrichment) • Observe and report changes in animal behavior or health • Assist in training and preparing animals for show participation • Support live show presentations, which may include wearing a costume • Learn and perform show sections as assigned • Maintain high standards of animal welfare, safety, and teamwork Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required • Prior experience or internship in an animal care or education setting preferred • Enthusiasm for guest engagement and conservation education • Adaptable, coachable, and a team player • Comfortable working in Florida heat and high-energy environments • Available to work weekends, holidays, and some evenings Physical Requirements: • Able to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours daily • Must be able to work in loud, outdoor environments
